Dear Everyone

Ahoj Everyone!
I have entered the MTC and so far have been here for three days now. What an amazing experience it has been! Every step you take around here you can feel the spirit. It's been so much fun but insansely busy! I've always loved working hard so it hasn't been too rough though. I've seen so many of my friends and people that i know from Cedar City that I had no idea I'd even have the chance to see.
I'll give you the download of what's been going on:
  • My companion is really cool. We're both very driven, organized, and righteous kids and it's working out great!
  • It's been very hard to figure out how everything is suppose to happen and what I am to expect at certain hours/meetings throughout the day. Even though it's just my third day I feel like I've gotten the hang of it.
  • My p-day's are Fridays!
  • Yesterday was my second language class (for 4 hours!) and it was really frustrating. The beginning and end of class was really spiritual and amazing, especially, when we sang I Need Thee Every Hour (felt like angels were singing through us to be honest)! As he, my teacher Elder Bodely, only spoke in Slovak it just went clear over my head and I was so lost for most of the class. I was really freaked out and frustrated but I got over it eventually.
  • Trying to keep up with the schedule every minute. I was so grateful for when I realized that I had a Missionary Dailly Planner in my book bundle.
  • I only get an hour to write emails... I'm not sure if I've said that already but I don't have time to go over this.
  • My missionary mailing address:
  • Elder Jacob William Lyman
    SEP30 CZE-SLVK
    Provo UT 84602

I'm having a great time here and I can see why RM's say that it goes by so quickly. The days are long (very long) but the weeks will be short. I'll try to have my thoughts together more for next time so that I could write a much longer letter for you but until then, I love all of you and I hope that you are all doing great... even without me ;).
